This Cookie Policy explains how Webinar by ToolWorldOnline ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies on https://webinar.toolworldonline.com/ and in our webinar rooms. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Cookies and Browser Storage Are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (such as local storage) works in a similar way and lets a website remember information on your device.

We use these technologies only to make the Service work, keep it secure, and remember your choices.

2. Our Approach

Because the cookies we use are needed for the Service to work or to remember a choice you made, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

3. Cookies We Set

Name Purpose Type Duration
sid Keeps you signed in to your account and protects your session. Essential 30 days, or until you log out
lang Remembers your language choice (English or Spanish). Preference 1 year
vid A random identifier that lets an attendee rejoin the same webinar without being counted twice. Essential 1 year
r + webinar number (for example r42) Remembers your registration for a webinar that requires registration, so your personal join link keeps working. Essential 180 days

Our cookies are set with the Secure and SameSite=Lax attributes. The sid, vid, and registration cookies are also HttpOnly, which means scripts on the page cannot read them.

4. Browser Storage We Use

Name Purpose Duration
tw_name Remembers the display name you entered to join a webinar, so you don't have to type it again. Until you clear it

When a host uses the "Show image" feature in a webinar room, the selected image is kept only in the browser's memory for that session. It is not saved to browser storage and is not uploaded to our servers.

5. Third-Party Technologies

Some parts of the Service are delivered by trusted providers that may use their own cookies or storage:

6. Managing Cookies

You can view, block, or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Most browsers also offer private browsing modes that clear cookies when you close the window.

Please note:

Camera, microphone, and screen-sharing permissions are not cookies. They are controlled separately in your browser and operating system settings.

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the technologies we use or when laws change. The updated version will be published on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
